The Brückeläufe race will take place on the first Saturday in October. The half-marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K starts at 8 a.m. Both races will begin and end in Heritage Park in downtown Frankenmuth.
Packet pick-up, race changes, and late registration can be done in Heritage Park inside the Harvey Kern Pavilion beginning at 5 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. on Friday evening and will open at 6 a.m. on race day and will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the individual race.
All half marathon participants will receive a custom engraved wooden medallion featuring the Holz Brücke. The top three finishers in each of the below age groups will receive prizes in the 5K run and walk. Runners who compete in each of the three races in the Frankenmuth Jaycees series will receive a custom medallion.
Absentee awards will not be mailed, but will held for pick up at the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau until January 1 of the following year.
There are numerous free parking options in downtown Frankenmuth within close proximity to Heritage Park. A large grass parking lot on Weiss Street offers the closest free parking, however departure form that lot can be delayed because Weiss Street is part of the race route and will be closed intermittently.
